Walter “Buck” R. Hauser, 82 of Lambertville, MI, and formerly of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Aspen Grove Assisted Living. Born December 4, 1934, in Aurora, West Virginia, he was the son of Walter J. and Lavina P. (Luzier) Hauser. Buck married Ruth Ann Watring on June 18, 1955. She preceded him in death on December 15, 1982. Buck was a die setter for 30 years at GM Powertrain, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the U.A.W., Local 14 and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving sons, Randy (Veronica) Hauser, Robert “Tony” (Kathy) Hauser and Roger Hauser; brother, Ronald (Sara) Hauser; sisters, Winona (James) Buckley, Shelba (Ernie) Sisler and Wilma (Denny) Helmick; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Hauser and great grandson, Jaxson Hauser.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI and 3-8 pm, Friday, January 20, 2017, at Aurora Memorial Building, 24079 George Washington Hwy, Aurora, WV 26705, where funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Stemple Ridge Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the National Alzheimer’s Association. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
